FRONTLINE BGV BARRIER
COUNTER BALANCED BARRIER
A counter balanced barrier is a manually operated barrier, mainly used in car parks and entrances to offices. The unit is lockable in both the open or closed position and stands 1000mm high from the ground when closed. Barriers are made to any requested width up to 6500mm. Bases are bolted down onto concrete foundation although built in bases can be supplied on request.
Boom arm is made from aluminium and contains balanced weights to ensure easy operation when opening or closing gate.
Finish: Galvanised as standard, other finishes available.
MANUAL ROAD CLOSER
The Manual road closer is based upon a rigid triangular form complete with strengthening struts and is made to withstand continuous heavy use. Made to customers specified width - maximum width available 6 metres. If opening is greater than 6 metres, we strongly recommend the use of two road closers locked centrally by use of a removable post.
Finish: Boom is Powder Coated in a colour of the client’s choice - Steel work is primed or galvanised.
SLIDING BARRIER BEAM
The Frontline manual cantilevered sliding barrier requires no overhead support or ground track across the roadway. The geometry of gate wheels and running track naturally keeps it in the upright position. It comes complete with padlockable shoot bolt to secure it in both the open and closed positions. The sliding barrier beam can be manual or automated.
The beam is constructed from a 100mm by 112mm track with 80mm square fully welded rectangle hollow section (RHS) welded to topside.
To prevent corrosion the following process is used. It will shotblasted and sprayed with pure hot zinc, followed immediately by sprayed filler primer and finally finished with a two pack polyurethane paint or powder coated in the client’s choice of colour (standard is satin black). This process provides to a 20-year corrosion protection for industrial and polluted inland sites to BS5493.
