Closed Circuit Television

With the need to protect people and property against acts of terrorism, and the need to combat crime and anti-social behaviour, CCTV has been successful in playing a part in convicting criminals for theft and vandalism and can provide crucial evidence in a court of law, which can assist with asset recovery, therefore proving cost affective. CCTV also has important safety uses, such as ensuring passengers' safety at railway stations and public transport.

Frontline Fire & Security recognise a trend in technology that has shown a shift from analogue to digital equipment, and in particularly to Internet protocol (IP) networked equipment. As existing data networks can be used, this allows the use of remote-monitoring services and removes the need for expensive dedicated cabling. Due to the fact that new cameras can be added at any point on the system, IP video systems are very flexible. Live footage and recordings can be viewed from anywhere on the network.

Cameras

Frontline Fire & Security are able to fully design a system to your specific requirements, tailor made to suit your application and budget. The company prides itself in using only the highest quality equipment to ensure reliability and customer satisfaction.

External and Internal cameras are available, in either Dome or Standard Housings, which in themselves give the benefit of being a deterrent.
The use of covert CCTV can also be adopted in certain circumstances, which will allow the user to view incidents unobtrusively.

Additionally, some cameras come with built-in IR (Infrared) LED illumination for low light and night viewing/recording, with cameras ‘switching’ from colour to monochrome when required.

Monitors and Recording

CCTV monitors come in various sizes to match their use and environment, Normally LCD Flat Screen type. These monitors can also adopt touch screen technology.

Digital Video Recorders (DVR) have excellent alarm handling features including multiple alarm inputs, relay outputs and comprehensive event handling and logging.  Used to store the recorded images, the DVR can be stand alone or networked for remote viewing.

The internal hard drive varies in size depending on the amount of cameras connected and the picture quality required.  Frontline Fire & Security match the recording requirements to a specific DVR to ensure correct system management.

While some simpler CCTV installations can all be managed via the DVR and its keyboard, larger systems with many cameras, DVR’s and monitors require a central system to manage, distribute and view the many CCTV images.

From a single camera to a fully networked system Frontline Fire and Security can provide the solution.
